Bringing Pretty to the Patio

Spring has sprung and allergies are in full swing. We’re only a few short weeks away from blue skies, warm weather and barbecues on the back deck. Here are some tips to get your patio summer ready:

1. Add Lighting
Whether it’s candles, lanterns or lamps, never underestimate the value of mood lighting. It creates a warm and friendly ambiance. Double up on light and bug protection with a few citronella candles. For another cost-effective alternative, try cheap paper lanterns available at most party supply stores.

2. Add Color
A splash of color goes a long way. Bright plastic dinnerware, fresh flowers and tablecloths are all good places to start.

3. Add Greenery
Bring life to the area with a few plants. If you lake a green thumb, try succulents or cacti.
