Lifestyles owner,Jerome Rackers, started working at Lifestyles in August of 1991 after graduating from Central Missouri University in May of the same year. With a degree in marketing, Jerome applied for a position in sales and service and worked his way up to assistant manager and then manager.
In 1995, Jerome and his wife, Cheryl, took a leap of faith and purchased the business from its original owner, Dan Neenan. At the time, Lifestyles sat on the corner of Seven Street and Walnut. Originally a retailer of college futons and waterbeds, Lifestyles began catering to a more sophisticated cliental when Jerome and the team moved to their Broadway location.
Nineteen years and a new location later, Lifestyles Furniture is celebrating 39 years in the business. Join our celebration with free local delivery now through the end of May.
